Continued Friday 31st. Janry 1794 .

And that the Committee having taken into consideration the petition
of Sarah Holt< no role >

Resolved to recommend to the General Court that she be
permitted to reside in a room new vacant over the Tack masters a
apartments and that the Steward be at Liberty to advance her to
the amount of £5 Pr. Quarter during the pleasure of the Court

That the Committee being informed that there was a claim made
of an arrear of £114.5.9 for fee Farm Rents. Had ordered the
Steward to examine the Books respecting this business

That an inconvenience having arisen from the made of
Electing Committees prescribed by the 4th: Standing Rule and
order

Resolved that the following alteration be recommended to
the General Court.

That after the words upon the Committees or not in the 12th.
line P. 8 the rest of the Rule be omitted and instead thereof
the following words be inserted and conclude the same "And that
in case of their refusals so to do or of their not answering such
"Letters other Governors be named in their place first out of
"those present in Court on the day of Election of the Committees
"and afterwards out of such as are absent and that the Committee
"be then formed accordingly."

That a doubt having arisen respecting the meaning of the
38th.. Standing Rule and order relative to Contracts and it appearing
to the Committee that it was the intention of the Court that no
work or Repairs were to be done or provisions Goods or materials
furnished to the Hospital exceeding a limitted expence best under
