Continued Thursday 29th. November 1792

Whereupon the Committee had resolved that the Treasurer should immediately purchase £300
3 per Cent Annuities of the year 1726 into the names of the President Treasurer and
Auditor General In Trust for the benefit of these Hospitals.

And at this Court the Minutes of the several Committees were upon Motion seperately
confirmed except a Resolution of the Hour Committee as to some Oak Boarder
which was done away by a subsequent Order of the Bethlem Committee

Security Bonds
delivered.


The President then delivered in the security Bonds for the Treasurer Clerk and the two
Stewards which were immediately deposited in the Iron Chest

An Extract of the Will of Sarah Lingard< no role > late of Witham in the County of Essex
Spinster was then read whereby she gave £50 to the Incurables in Bethlem
Hospital

The President reported that he had received for the use of the Incurables a Benefaction
of £50 from George Coleman< no role > Esqr . of Watling Street

Pitt, Jno< no role > . Esqr .
his Benefactn.


And the Treasurer reported that he had received for the use of Bethlem Hospital a
Benefaction of £30 from John Pill< no role > Esqr . of Gloucester.

Nominated.


It was then Resolved that the thanks of the Court be communicated to the above
Gentleman for their kind and charitable Donations and that they be put in nomination
as Governors the consideration thereof to be refered to the House Committee together
with Mr. George Leekey< no role > This name instance is in a workspace. of Basinghall Street who was now nominated by Richard
Dixon
< no role > Esqr .

And at this Court the Treasurer appointed Mr. William Wilson< no role > the younger of the Minories
to be a Governor of these Hospitals.

Report Gratuities
to the Steward &
Mr. J. Woodhouse Junr.


A report was then read from the Gentlemen whom the Court had desired to consider what
Gratuities should be given to the Steward and Clerk of Bridewell for their extra trouble
and attendance during the late investigation of the affairs of the two Hospitals, in
which they recommend that the Steward should be reimbursed the sum of £36.11s.6d
which he had paid for the assistance of Clerks andthatalso that a Gratuity of
Twenty five Guineas should be given him as a recompence for his own trouble and
that a Gratuity of Ten Guineas should be given to Mr. John Woodhouse< no role > Junior who
had attended instead of his Father who had long been confined by illness.

The consideration of the above report was postponed to the next Court, and notice of it
was ordered to be inserted in the Summons

And the Court was then adjourned.
