At this Court Edward Billingsley< no role > of Hockwold near Branden
in the County of Norfolk Esqr . was unanimously Elected a Governor
of these Hospitals and It is Ordered that a Staff be sent him
forthwith

Mr. Locks Gift


Henry Major< no role > and William Longden< no role > Esqrs . and Mr.
Philip Bell< no role > three of the Governors reported that in Pursuance of an
Order of Court of the 7th. day of June last they had made an Inquiry and
found that Thomas Underhil< no role > late Apprentice to Robert Lemare< no role >
was setup for himself in his Trade and has the Character of a diligent
and Sober Man It is Ordered that the Steward do pay the said
Thomas Underhill Ten Pounds out of Mr. Locks Gift to be allowed
him in his next Account

Straw John to be inquired after for
Mr Locks Gift


Upon reading the humble Petition of John Straw< no role > Citizen
and Pinmaker setting forth that he served his Apprenticeship in this
Hospital to Jeffery Gillingham< no role > by Indenture dated 17th. day of June 1771 and
by order of Court of 15th. July 1778 was made for of this City the 6th. day of Octr.
