All, Which is nevertheless Submitted to the Judgment of
the Court And it is Ordered that this Opinion be
reported to the next Court This Court having duly weighed
and considered the said Report doth order and direct that
the Names of the Gentlemen mentioned in the said Report
be entered in the Court Bock according to the seniority
of the governors nomination And it is further Ordered
that the said Report be Confirmed and that Slaves be
forthwith sent to all the above Gentlemen.

General Nomination

Lady Day 1784

This Court being informed That the Number of
governors of these Hospitals is Great It is Ordered that
there be no General Nomination of governors till the
first Court after Lady Day 1784.

This Court being informed by Samuel Salt< no role > Esqr .
one of the governors of these Hospitals that he having
received no Notice of the Court held on the 21st of November last
for a General Nomination of governors had thereby lost
the Opportunity of naming the Gentlemen he proposed.

It is Ordered that the said Mr. Salt have now leave
to Nominate a Gentleman tobe a Governor of these
Hospitals and he having Nominated John Shadwell
Horton
< no role > of Distaff Lane London Esquire It is further Ordered
that the Consideration of this Nomination be referred to the
Committee of this House who are desired to make their Report
thereon to this Court.

Upon Reading a Report from the House Committee
bearing date the 4th. day of December Instant under the
Hands of Nathaniel Thomas< no role > Esquire Alderman treasurer
