attend at any fire at a
greater Distance than
half a mile

Seawell< no role > Esqr . and Mr. Deputy Wm. Rogers< no role > in the Words & figures
following "This Committee in Pursuance of an Order of Court
bearing date the 18th day of April last having taken into Consideration
the several Petitioner of the Artsmasters and the Senior Apprentices in
this Hospital and also considering the great Number of Engines
that are now kept by the different parishes Insurance Offices and
other public Bodies in this Metropolis in Comparison to what were
formerly are unanimously of Opinion That for the future the
Engines belonging to this Hospital shall not be permitted to go out
or Attend at any Fires at a greater Distance than within half a
Mile from this Hospital and that the Engines be not at any time
suffered to go out without the permission of the treasurer for the
time being or in his Absence of the Minister Reader Clerk or
Steward of this Hosptial or one of them All which is nevertheless
Submitted to the Judgement of the Court" This Court having
duly weighed and considered the said Report confirm the same.

Upon Reading a Report from the House Committee bearing
date the 13th. day of June last under the Hands of Nathal. Thomas< no role > Esqr . Aldn .
treasurer Mr. Thomas Horne< no role > John Rivington< no role > Esqr . and Mr. Deputy
Wm. Rogers< no role > in the Words and Figures following " This Committee in
pursurance of an Order of Court bearing date the 18th. day of April
last having taken into Consideration the Petition of William Wilby< no role > Junr
one of the Artsmaster and having viewed the House he now resives on
as well as the adjoining House are of Opinion that as his Present
House is large enough for him to carry on his Business that it will not
be for the Interest of this Hospital to Grant him the adjoining House
All which is nevertheless submitted to the Judgement of the Court"
This Court having duly weighed and considered the said Report
doth Confirm the same.

Upon Reading the Humble Petition of Joseph Ward< no role >
of Charing Cross in the Parish of Saint Martin in the Fields in
the County of Middlesex Stockbroker in the Words and figures
following" That Your Worships by Indenture of Lease bearing date
the 29th. day of June 1733 Demises to John Price< no role > of Richmond in the
County of Surry Esquire a Piece of Ground whereon two House had
then lately been built situate on the East of Charing Cross To hold
from Lady Day 1731 for the Term of 61 Years at the Rent of £46..
clear of Taxes which Lease will expire in the Year 1792 That
the said premises afterwards by several Mesne assignments became
Vested in Francis Wilson< no role > late of Great George Street Esqr . who was
in Possession thereof for Eleven Years and Upwards during which time
