Continued Thursday 18th. April 1776.

We shall next state the situtation of
Bridewell Hospital .

We find that the Total of the Rent and Anniuty Rolls which are
in the Collection of Mr. Griffiths Steward of Bridewell Hospital amounts to
the Sum of£3391..8s..0d

That there are in the Funds belonging to Bridewell
Hospital the following Sums which produce the
following Dividends Vizt.

East India Annuities £3135£94..1..0
Bank 3 P Ct. Annuities 1726 6600198..0..0
Bank 3 P Ct. Ann ye 1726 150045..0..0}

And Bridewell Hospital is also Intitled to 1/5 of
Dr. Tyson's Annuity}

The Legacies and Benefactions left and given last
year to Bridewell were £175 but as they are uncertains we
can only Average them for the last seven Years which we
find to be per Annum}

The Sum Total of the Money paid for
Bridewell Hospital was last Year £7845..5s..3½d
whereof the Sum of 5787..7..4 was applied in
Payment of old Debts and the residue being the
Sum of £2057..17s..11½d was paid on Account of
the Expences of the Year 1775}

And there are other Bills that became due at
Christmas last which were delivered in the Year 1776
and therefore not brought into the Account of Receipts
and Payments in the Year 1775 amouting to}

Which make the Sum Total of the Expenditure or
Outgoings for the Year 1775 amount to the Sum of}

The Rents and Arrears in the Tenants Hands at
Christmas last and which are esteemed to be recoverable
amount to as (appears by the Account now produced) to}

And there are certain Arrears remaining in the
Hospital Ledgers which have been carried on for a Number
of Years amounting in the whole to the Sum of £1460..4s..6d
the particulars of which we now produce to the Court and as
they are deemed to be irrecoverable & only serve to sevell the
Accots we also recommend to the Court to direct the same to be Whole
off in the making up the next Yearly Accts. & to be Kept in a separate Book
to be provided for that purpose}
