Continued Wednesday 24th. April 1765

Upon Trust to Permit Sarah< no role > the Wife of the said John Holmes< no role > to
receive the Rents and Profits for her Life and after her Death then to Assign
and Transfer the said Leasehold Premises for the Remainder of the said Term
unto all and every the Children of the said John Holmes< no role > by his said Wife and
in default of such Issue Then upon Trust that his said Trustees and the Surriwes
of them shod. as soon as conveniently night be after his Wifes Death Sell &
Dispose of the said Leasehold Premises by Action or otherwise as they
should think proper and distribute and dispose of the Moneys arising
from such Sale in manner as in the said Will is mentioned, and the said
John Holmes< no role > appointed his said Wife Sole Executrix who duly proved the
same in the Prerogative Court of the Archbishop of Canterbury and the said
John Holmes< no role > Died witht. Issue

That the said Sarah Holmes< no role > afterwards to wit on the 4th. May last died
and the said Timothy Ruller< no role > one of the aforesaid Trustees is also Dead and
Your Petitioners have in Pursuance of the Trust reposed in them by the said
Will Sold the said Leasehold Premises by Public Auction and Robt. Holmes< no role >
of Sutton in the County of Surry Esqr . became the Purchaser thereof But
Your Petitioner Perceiving that by the Terms of the aforesaid Lease the said John Holmes< no role >
and his Representatives are not to Bargain Sell or Assign the before Demised
Premises without the Licence of your Worships

Your Petitioners thereof Humble Pray Your Worships that they may
be at Liberty to Assign over their Interest in the before Demised Premises to the
said Robert Holmes< no role > for the residue of the aforesaid Term of 59 Years under the
same Rent Reservations and Covenants as the said John Holmes< no role > held the same
and your Petitioners shall ever Pray

It is Ordered that the said William Holmes< no role > and Elizth. Holmes< no role > be at
Liberty to Assign over their Interest in the Premises to the said Robert Holmes< no role >
for the residue of the said Term of 59 Years under the same Rent reservations
and Covenants as the said John Holmes< no role > hold the same

for Lease to Assign Lease


Upon Reading the Petition of Samuel Bennet Smith< no role > of Shad Thames in
the County of Surry Timber Merchant in the Words and figures following Vizt
That Your Worship's did by Indenture of Lease Dated the 24th. day of April 1754
Demise unto Samuel Mellor< no role > of the Parish of St Botolph without Bishops Gate London
All those Six MessuagesTenements with the Backsides and Yards
thereto belonging situate and being on the South side of Bethlem Court London and
all those 7 Messuages or Tenements with the Backsides and Yards thereto belonging
situate on the North side of said Court And all that Messuage or Tenement with the
Ground and Yard thereto belonging lying partly behind the two Westermost of said 7
Messuages and also all those 5 Messuages or Tenements and the Yards and Backsides
thereunto belonging situate on the East side of the Passage at the Easter most End of said Court all
which Premes were then in the Tenure of sd Saml. Mellor< no role > his Undertenants or Assigns
and are Situate lying and being in the said Parish of St. Botolph and were part of
the Possessions Revenues and Goods of the House and Hospital called Bethlem To
Hold unto said Samuel Mellor< no role > his Executors Administrators and Assigns from
Lady day then last past for the Term of 26 Years at the Yearly Rent of £60 Payable
in manner therein mentd. and under the Covenants Provisors Restrictions and
Agreements in said Indenture of Lease Particularly Specified

That by several Mesne Assignments to the said Several Premises become legally
Vested in Your Petitioner
