Continued Thursday 26th. Febry 1761

Your Petitioner there fore humbly prays Your Worships will be pleased
to lend £100. for 6. Months Certain upon his Bond, And at the End of that
time the Petitioner will Deposite in Mr. Popes hands (one of the Governors of
this Hospital for whom he has the Honour of doing a great part of his business)
£25. P Quarter till the whole is paid or in such other Manner as the Governors.
shall please to OrderThis Court having duly Weighed and Consider'd the
said Petition Doth reject the same.

Order'd That Mr. Treasurer be Impower'd to pay Mr. Clarke the Clerk to the
Commissioners Acting under an Act of Parliament passed In theYear of
His late Majesty for Dividing and Incloseing Northleigh Commonfields in
Oxfordshire £305..14..0½ being the Proportion Awarded to be paid by Bridewell
Hospital of the Expences in Obtaining The said Act & Carrying the same into
Execution.

At this Court the following poor boys were Order'd to be put out Apprentices Vizt.

Gratuitys


Upon Reading the humble Petition of the four Beadles and Porters Man of this
Hospital for their Usual Gratuities of Forty shillings a peice for the half Year
Ending at Christmass last for their Salaries are but Small It is Order'd that the
Clerk of these Hospitals do give and pay unto them Forty shillings a peice to be
Allowed him in his next Account.

Upon Reading the humble Petition of the Three Basket men of Bethlem Hospital
for the in Usual Gratuities of Twenty shillings a peice for the half Year Ending-
at Christmass last for their Salaries are but Small It is Order'd That the
Clerk of these Hospitals do give and pay un to them 20s. a peice to be Allowed-
him in his next Account.
