Continued Friday 29th. June 1759

At this Court the Charge was read to Mr. Thos. Hallifax< no role > as
a Governor of these Hospitals

Mackley Saml. Porter a Grat
of £26}


A Motion being made that in regard to the Extraordinary Diligence
of Mr. Saml. Mackley< no role > the Porter of this Hospital a Gratuity be given [..]
him for his good Services for the time past And the Sum of Twenty
Six pounds being now proposed, And the Question being thereupon put
It is Orderd that the Clerk do pay the sd. Mr. Mackley £26as
a Gratuity for his sd. Services.

At this Court the Govrs. hereafter named Vizt.

Stewards of Election Feast 1759

Stewards for the next Election day of these Hospitals who are desired to
provide a Dinner at their own bien Venue for the President,
Treasurer and Governors to Dine together According to Antient Custom
And in Case any of the Stewards Elected decline or refuse the same
the Clerk is to Supplye the Numble in Course.

Beadles ½ Yr. Mids 1759


Upon Reading the humble petition of the four Beadles & Portersman
of this Hospital for their Usual Gratuities of Forty Shillings a peice
for the half year ending at Midsummer last for their Salarys are
but Small It is Order'd that the Clerk of these Hospitals do
give and pay unto them Forty shillings a peice to be Allow'd
him in his next Account.

Basketman ½ Yr Mids 1759


Upon Reading the humble petition of the three Basketman
of Bethlem Hospital for their Usual Gratuities of Twenty
Shillings a peice for the half year ending at Midsumer last
for their Salarys are but Small It is Orderd that the Clerk of
these Hospitals do give & pay unto them Twenty Shilling
a peice to be Allowed him in his next Account.
