Beadles Grat ½ yr. Xmas 1755


Upon Reading the humble Petition of the four Beadles & Portersmon of this Hospl. [..]
for their Usual Gratuities of Forty shillings apeice for the half year
ending at Christmass last for their Salarys are but Small It is Ordered that
the Clerk of these Hospitals do Give and pay unto them Forty Shillings
apeice to be Allowed him in his next Account.

Upon Reading the humble Petition of the three Basketmen of
Bethlem Hospital for their Usual Gratuities of Twenty Shillings apeice
for the half Year ending at Christmass last for their salary are but small It is Ordered that the
Clerk of these Hospitals do Give and pay unto them Twenty Shillings
apeice to be allowed him in his next Account

SettingforthThat he Served part of his Apprenticeship in this Hospital to
George Male< no role > deced late one of the Artsmasters & the Remr. to James
Farnsworth
< no role > one of the Artsmasters by Indre dated 16 Septr. 1748 And by
Order of Court the 12th. of Dech last was made free of this City And is
Set up for himself at Mr. Buckeys Velvet weaver in Weavers street
near Fleetstreet Spittlefields And praying some
part of Mr. Fowkes Gift, Mr. Deputy Bracee Mr. Calvert Benn< no role > &
Mr. William Rogers< no role > Or two of them are desired to enquire whether he
be set up in his said Trade & of his hopefullness therein and
Report to the Court.

Upon Reading the humble Petition of Philip Bone< no role > Weaver Settingforth
That he Served his Apprenticeship in this Hospital to Thomas Keild< no role > dead
late one of the Artsmasters by Indre dated 20th. July 1748 And by Order of Court
the 12th. of December last was made free of this City and is set up for himself
at Mr. Elliots near the Rose and Crown in Queen street in the Park
Southwark , Mr. Deputy Hodges, Mr. William Kimleside< no role > , & Mr. Thos. Horne< no role >
or any two of them are Desired to Enquire whether he be set up in his
said Trade & of His Hopefullness therein And Report to the Court
