This Court doth Elect John Leman< no role > of North Haw in the County of
Hartford Esqr . to be one of the Governors of these Hospital And Order
that a Staff be forthwith sent to him Notwithstanding the Order of
Court the 29th. of April 1748And he being in the Hall & Acquainted
therewith came into Court & received his Charge.

Whereas a Report from the Comittee of this House dated the 8th day
of June 1743 was read & Confirmed at a Court hold the 8th day of July 1743
whereby among other things it was Ordered That for the future no
Person shou'd be Admitted a Governor of these Hospitals under the
Age of Thirty YearsIt is now Ordered unanimously that, That
part of the said Order be reported.
