Continued Thursday 6th. Septr 1750

Upon the Occupyer of the sd. Premes in equall Reportions with the rest of the
Tenants or Ocupyors of Messes or Tenements in the said Precinct towards the
Charge of the Scavenger, Walch and poor of the said Precinct And the said John
Duffield
< no role > being called in & Acquainted therewith Agreed thereto and gave a Guinea
to the Poors box All which is Nevertheless Submitted to the Judgment of the Court
And It is Ordered that this Opinion be reported to the next CourtThis Court
having duly Weighed and Considered the said Report doth Confirm the said And
Order that a Lease be made to the said Mr John Duffield< no role > Accordingly.

Mr. Richard Manby< no role > one of the Governors of these Hospitals Reported to the
Court that in Pursuance of an Order of Court the 22d. of June 1750 be & Mr Abraham
Purcas
< no role > and Mr Deputy Child two of the Comors of this Hospitals had made enquiry and found that Walter Stammer< no role > who
Served his Apprenticeship in the Hospital to Mr. George Male< no role > Velvet Weaver is set
up for himself in his said Trade and has the Character of a Diligent and Sober Man
It is Ordered That the Steward of this Hospital do give and pay unto the
said Walter Stammer Ten Pounds to be Allowed him in his next Account.

Deeming John-To have
£10 Locks Gift


Mr. Uppington Bracee< no role > one of the Governors of these Hospitals Reported to
this Court that in Pursuance of an Order of Court the 22d of June 1750 he and Mr
Calvert Bermond< no role > Mr John Forty< no role > two, of the Governors of these Hospitals had made
enquiry and found that John Deeming< no role > who Served his Apprenticeship in his Hospital
to Mr John Ittery< no role > Velvet Weaver is Set up for himself in his said Trade and has the
Character of a Diligent and Sober ManIt is Ordered that the Steward of these
Hospitals do give and pay unto the said John Deeming Ten Pounds to be Allowed him
in his next Account.

Death declared


This Court being Acquainted with the Death of Edward Holloway< no role > Esq late Treasurer
of these Hospitals Do desire Mr. President and Mr. Auditor General Settle his Accounts
with his AdministratorAnd it is Ordered that the Election of a Treasurer be at the
next Court and that Notice thereof be in inserted in the Tickets.

At this Court William Wenden< no role > Shoemaker one of the Artsmaster s of this Hospital
complained of his Apprentice Philip Jenkins< no role > that he is very Disorderly in the family neglets
his Work & Spoils what he is set about has several times run away and imbezelled his Master
Goods, and the last Week went in his Masters Name but without his Order or knowledge to
a Leather Cutter & took up a Peice of Leather at the price of 2s which he never brought home
but sold imediately for 1s And the boy being present wou'd not levy what his Master said
Whereupon It was Ordered that the said Philip Jenkins< no role > Shou'd be Corrected in the
presence of the rest of the Apprentices of this Hospital which was done Accordingly & Them set
to hard Labor at the Kemp black till he will consent to go & a Master can be get to take him to Sent [..]
