whereon stood diverse Messuages or Tenements before the same were burnt down
by the then late great fire thereAnd all the Messuages Tenements Yards
then standing and being thereonTo hold from Midsumer then last for 61 years
at the yearly Rent of 25. which will expire at Midsumer 1764That the

Messuages or Tenements which are for the residue of the Term therein Invested
in the PetitionerThat most of the Houses are of small Rents (of about
£7. or £8. P ann each) and so ruinous that he is Annually obliged to lay out
great Sums of money in the repair thereof and several of there in Wapping deck Street

new Markett Street
and Cinnamon Street
have received much
damage by the late fire and must be rebuilt before the Expiration of the said Lease to
the very great expence of the Petr.And praying the Govrs. would grant him
an Additional Term of years in the said Premes to commence from the
Expiration of the former Lease or to give him such other relief as to them should

take a New Lease from Michas next of both the Houses mentioned in both
the above Leases for 31 years at the old Rent and to pay a Fine of £70. and
to repair the premes at their own ChargeAnd praying the Govrs. would
grant to them or one of them a New Lease thereof according to their sd. proposals
