her to the Castle where the said Pool. Johnson Perry and Paxty were present all the time & two others
most of the time of her Examination which was about three hours Whereupon the Comee Ordered
That the State of this matter be laid before the next CourtAnd also upon further examining
the said Jery Heather< no role > & upon his humble submission to & asking pardon of the Court and premsing to
amend his behaviour and not be guilty of the like crime for the future He was reprimended by
Mr. President and the Court was pleased to forgive him.

Ordered that the Comee of this house to whom it is Referred to consider of a Method to
regulate the behaviour of the Apprentices be desired to send for the Artsmasters & give in such [..]
as the Comee shall think proper to take care of their respective ApprenticesAnd that the Clerk delay or
before the said Comittee such Orders as have been made in relation to the behaviour of the Artsmasters
and their Apprentices.

Upon reading the humble Petition of Thomas Parker< no role > SettingforthThat Thomas
Audley
< no role > his Grandfather by Lease (No.1) dated 8th. Septr. 1669 held of the Governors of this
Hospital three Houses in Bridelane for a Term of 67 years at the yearly Rent of £4 which expires
at Midsumer 1736 and that the premisses an out of Repair & will cut £150 to put the same in good repair
And that the Petr. is willing to take a new Lease thereof for 21 years to commence from the Expiration of
the former Lease at the old Rent of £4. and to pay a fine of £40. and to repair the premises at his
own ChargeAnd praying that the Governors will grant him a Lease according to his said proposalls
It is Ordered that it be referred to the Comittee of this house to consider of the said
Petition & to Report their opinion therein to this Court.

Upon reading the humble Petition of William Fell< no role > SettingforthThat Elizabeth Fell< no role >
his Mother by Lease (No. 6) dated 28 July 1719 in consideration of £50 as a Fine hold of the
Governors of this Hospital a house on the South side of Wapping Street backwards to the River of
Thames for 21 years at the yearly Rent of £5. which Expires at Michas 1736And that she
hath since intermarried with John Rice< no role > and they have both assigned their Lease to the Petitioner and
that the house is an old Timber building and will cost above £150. to put the same into good
RepairAnd that he is willing to take a new Lease thereof for 21 years to Comman from the
Expiration of the former Lease at the old Rent of £5. & to pay a fix of £40. and to repair the
premisses at his own ChargeAnd praying that the Governors will grant him a New Lease
according to his said proposalsIt is Ordered that it be referred to the Comittee of this
house to consider of the said Petition & to report their opinion therein to this Court.

Upon reading the humble Petition of Timothy Tennant< no role > the Elder and Timothy Tennant< no role > the
younger SettingforthThat they have been for sometime past Tenants at Will of an House near
King Edwards Stairs called the Golden Cock in Wapping under the Governors of this Hospital (which
was formerly let toshaw by Lease No. 35)That the House is out of Repair and
they are willing to take a Lease thereof for 21 years to Common from Christmas next at a Rack
Rent or to pay a Ground Rent & Fine off such part as the Governors shall think fittAnd
praying that they may have a Lease granted thereof accordinglyIt is Ordered that it be
referred to the Committee of this House to consider of the said Petition and to report their
Opinion therein to this Court.
