Upon reading a Report from the Comee of this house under
the hands of John Tayler< no role > Esqr . Treasurer , Col George Meggot< no role >
Mr. Depty . Robert Stamper< no role > Mr. Samuel Keble< no role > and John Cottle< no role > Esqr .
dated the 12th. day of this instant May in the words following vizt. Mr
John Fell< no role > if Wapping in the County of Middx Vintner proposed to take a
Lease of the house in Wapping late Selwyns (whose Lease will expire
at Michlmas next) for 21 years to comence from Michas next with the passage as it is under Arnalls house formerly
Browns and to leave out ye liberty of the passage on the West Side of the
house adjoyning which was reserved to the Tenant in the former Lease
at the rent of Five pounds P Annum and to pay Fifty Pounds for a
Fyne This Comee are of Opinion to accept the said proposeall
This Court doth Confirme the said Report and Order that a Lease
be made accordingly unto the said Mr John Fell< no role >

In Pursuance of an Order of the 19th March 1713 This Comee have
taken into consideration the Petition of Martha Bayly< no role > the widdow
of Capt . James Bayly< no role > and Samuel Bloss< no role > the Grandson of Amos Ford< no role > late
of St. Pauls Shadwell marriner deced praying two new Leases of Severall Messuage
& ground at Wapping they being each entitled to a Moisty thereof by vertue
of the last Will and Testament of the said Amos Ford who held the same
at the Severall yearly Rents of Four pounds and Twelve pounds P annu
under two Severall Leases to him from the Governors of this hospital
the one dated the 26th & the offer the 27th. of Aprill 1667 for 51
years to Comence from Lady day 1664 & which expired att Lady day
last And the said Petr. proposeing to renew the Leases of the said
premiss (Expect the Ground & Ware house at the Corner of Brewers
Lane) for 31 years to Comence from last Lady day at the old
Rents of £4 & £12 P Annu & to pay three Hundred & Twenty
pounds fine and to Lay out One hundred & Eighty pounds within
two years in repaireing the said premissesThis Comee are
of Opinion to accept ye Said proposalThis Court doth
Confirme the said Report and Order the Leases be
accordingly made unto the said Martha Bayly< no role > and Samuel Bloss< no role >
