Cass sr John Trear
desired to resign}


The Rt. Worshippll . sr . John Cass< no role > knt . and
aldran Trear of these hospitals acquainted this Court that the
Publick business in which he was engaged aswell as his owne private
Affaries would not permitt him to attend the Service of these hospitals
any longer as Trear And that therefore he desired to resigned the
Said Office and that the Court would Choose another in his Room But
that he would be alwayes ready to Serve the hospitals in what Lay
in his power Whereupon this Court unanimously gave
Mr. Treasurer Cass thanks for the Many good Services he has done
to these hospital and desired that he would Continued in the said office
untill they could made Choice of another fitt person to Succeed him
to which he was pleased to consent And therefore it is Order'd
that the Election of a Treasurer in the room of the sd. sr . John
Cass
< no role > be at the next Court and that notice thereof be inserted
in the Tubetts.

Mr. Treasurer Cass acquainted this Court that he had
taken notice that Joseph Taylor< no role > the Clerk of the these
hospitals had been very Serviceable in his office and had putt
the books papers and conteings into good order which were in
great Confusion and for about three yeares past had done part
of the business of the Steward of this hospital and had Settled
and brought the accounts of these hospital into a much better
method than was formerly used for which he had reced
nothing more than the usual allowances to his Predecessors

Whereupon It is Order'd That it be referred to the
Auditors of the accounts of these hospital at their next
meeting to consider of the Services of the Said Joseph Taylor< no role >
and that they be desired to report their Opinion to this Court
what they thin proper to be done therein
