Beadles of Bethlem
Gratuityes}


Also upon the humble Peticon of the Free Beadles or Baskettmen of the
Hospll. of Bethlem for their usuall Gratuityes of Twenty Shillings a peice
Given them by this Court In respect of the halfe Yeare ending at Lady day
last It is ordered by this Court That Mr. Trear doe give and pay unto rath
of them Twenty Shillings to be allowed Mr: Trear in his next account.

Also upon the humble Petition of Richd. South< no role > of the Citty of Oxon Milloner
For Some mittigation of the weekly paymt. of Five Shillings for the keeping of
George South< no role > a poor Lunatick in the Hospll. of Bothlem who has nothing of
his owne but has been hitherto maintained by the Petr. and by the charitable
assistance of some Friends who are unable any longer to contribute to the sd
charge That the petr. being reduced to a very low and meane condicon is
noe longer able to be are the sd. weekly charge And this Court receiveing
a Satisfactory acct: of the Trueth of the matter of the sd. Petition It is
Ordered That Security being given to pay Two Shillings & Six pence a
week for the keeping the sd. George South< no role > for the future And the arreares
of the weekly payment of Five Shillings being cleared to this day
That then the same be reced and the bond for paymt: of Five Shillings
weeke be delivered upp to be Cancelled.
