Upon the humble Peticon of John Noyre< no role > Citizen and
Gold Smith of London for some mittigacon of the Weekly payment
of Five Shillings for the keeping of Nicholas Foach< no role > a poore
Lunatick in the Hospll of Bethlem he haveing only a Coppy hold
Estate of about yos: a yeare and noe more and the rest of his maintenance
being made up by the contribucon of his Freinds, And his Mother being
a very poor woman is supported only by the said Copy hold Estate And
his Freinds being noe longer able to bear the said Charge. It is Ordered
by this Court That Securitye being given for the payment of Three
Shillings a Week for the future That then the same shall be received
And the Bond for paymt: of Five Shillings a Weeke be delivered up to be
Cancelled

Alsoe upon the humble Peticon of Margarett Steers< no role > wife of Samuell
Steers
< no role > late one of the Beadles of Bethlem Hospll Shewing That he husband
has been Seaventeen yeares a Servant of the said Hospll And in his
Service there received divers hurts by blows from the Patients in the said
Hospll by which he is become came and unfitt for any service or business
Soe That he has been forced to leave his place And has laine ill Three
Quarters of a yeare last past unable to helpe himselfe in which time
he has spent all That the Peticonr by her labour could gett And is now
in a very miserable condicon and likely to perish unless assisted by the
Charity of this Court humbly prayeing therefore the Compassion of
this Court towards her husbands reliefe in such manner as shall be
thought fitt This Court considering the said Peticon And comiserating
the condicon of the Peticonr and her husband after soe many yeares service
Doe think fitt and soe order That the Steward of Bethlem Hospll doe pay to
the Peticon towards her husbands reliefe Five shillings a Weeke for
Thirteen Weeks to be accounted from the first day of this Instant January
