Upon reading the Certificate of Mr. Thomas Gardiner< no role >
and Mr. John Bland< no role > (two of the Governrs . of these Hospls.)
That upon Inquiry they defind that Nicholas Ashby< no role >
Weaver (who was brought up Apprentice with Caleb Clarke< no role >
Weaver (late one of the Artsmars . of this Hospll. deced) and
Since made a Freeman of this Citty by the approbacon of
this Court) is Sett up for himselfe in his said Trade and
that he hath a Loom and some Small Stock, a Bedd &
a few goods and a good repute among the neighbourhood
& yt. they Judge him worthy of the Charity of Mr. Locks
Gift It is Ordered by this Court That Mr. Trear
Baker doe give and pay unto him Tenne Pounds out
of the profitts fo Mr. Locks Gift the better to enable him
to manage his said Trade to be allowed Mr. Trear in
his next Account

That upon Inquiry they doe find That John Spung< no role > Glover
(who was brought up Apprse. with John Fowler< no role > Glover (One of
the Artsmars . of this Hospll.) and since made a Freeman of this
Citty by the Approbacon of this Court) is Sett up for himselfe
in his said Trade that he hath had a Shopp to himselfe for
halfe a Yeare, & by the Report of Sewall of his Neighbours
is a Diligent & industrious Young man & is very care full
and hopefull in his Trade, & (in their Judgmts.) well worthy
of the favour of this Court. It is Ordered by this Court
That Mr. Trear Baker doe give any pay unto him the Sume
of Tenne Pounds out of the profitts of Mr. Locks Gift the
better to enable him to manage his said Trade to be
allowed Mr. Trear in his next Accompt.

brought up Apprse . with John Long< no role > Weaver (One of the Artsmasters
of this Hospll.) and since made a Freeman of this Citty by the
approbacon of this Court) is sett up for himselfe in his said
Trade and that he has a Loom of his own and a good
Repute among his Neighbours for a Civill and Industrious
Young man It is Ordered by this Court That Mr.
Trear Baker doe give any pay unto him Tenne Pounds
out of the profitts of Mr. Locks Gift the better to enable
him to manage his said Trade to be allowed Mr. Trear
in his Next Acccompt
