Gratuities


Also Upon the Severall humble peticons of the four
Beadles and Portersman of the Hospitall of Bridewell
and of the three Baskettmen of the Hosptl of Bethlem
for their usuall Gratuities of Twentye Shillings a peice in
respect of the [..] halfe yeare ending at Michins last It
is Ordered by this Court That Mr Trear Baker Doe
Give and pay unto each of them Twentye Shillings
be allowed Mr Trear in his next Account.

Beadles &
Porters Man's
Sallaries increased


Also Upon the humble peticon of the two younger
Beadles and the porters man of the Hospitall of
Bridewell for some addition to their Sallaries of Six
pounds P Annm for that their Charge is great, and the
Fees and perquisite of their Places much lessened of
late Yeares This Court taking the same in to their
consideracon And That the petrs have well behand
themselves in their respective Officers Doe think
fitt and soe Order That their respective wages or
Sallaries be increased to Eight pounds a Yeare
from Michms last during the pleasure of this Court
