Whereas John Coggs< no role > Esqr . on the 24th day of Aprill 1704 due at
the request of this Board advance and pay unto the Lady Hart
the sume of £100 which was decreed to her paid to her by
virtue of an order of the High Court of Chancery made
the 25th- day of November in the second yeare of her
Prsent Majesties Reigne in a cause wherein Mr. Edward
Northney Knight her Majesties Attorney Generall [..]
Bennett Esqr Gyles Clarke< no role > Esqr and others the Inhabitants of
this parish [..] on behalfe of the poore of this parish
mere Relators and the said lady Hart and others were defends
in full of discharge of the arreares of an annity of one
hundred pound P annum payable to the said lady Hart out
of certain lands and tenements lyeing and beeing in High
Holborne in the County of middlx as by the said order & electors
beeing thereunto had will appeare, And whereas at the time
of the makeing of the request by this board to the said Mr Coggs
for the advanceing of the said one hundred pounds it was
agreed and consented to by this board that the said Mr Coggs
should bee allowed Interest for the said one hundred pound from
the time he should pay the sume unto the said lady Hart to the
time that the said £100 should bee repaid him again, [..]
[..] which is very well knowne to and remembered by
this board(though the order for the advanceing and
paying the said one hundred pound to the said Lady Hart
bee smithed to bee entered)It is therefore Now ordered
by this board that Mr Church Warden Benskin in due pay unto
the said Mr Coggs the said one hundred pound with interest booke
