At this Meeting the Committee appointed on the 2d of Novr.
last to Consider of Regulations for the better governing the
Workhouse . - Made their first Report as follows

"A Report of the Committee elected to Consider of Regulation
" for the better governing of the Workhouse made 1st. Freby. 1785 .

"That they Conceive it would tend much to the ascertaining
"the Numbers and further Regulating the Poor if the following

That a call of all the Previous who are Maintained in the
Workhouse be made an Monday the 7th, day of February
1785. That then a regular List of Them, with their Christian
and Six Names - Their Age - the time and Manner of their
gaining Settlements in this Parish be taken, That the
same be digested Alphabetically and entered in a Book
by the Vestry Clerk - And that all Persons coming into the
House be inserted in such Book - And all Persons
