to this Committee that by the lowering the Rate
to 8d. in the Pound his Poundage is greatly dimin [..]
that he has been at much pains and trouble in
Collecting the said Rate and requesting the
Committee to make him same allowance
Resolved that he be paid Ten Pounds for the
same, for which three of this Committee drew a
Draft on the Bankers.

Messrs Meredith having applied to this
Committee for Payment of the Remainder of
their Bill for the Paving New Castle Street
Resolved that Mr. Jackson (as Agent to His
Grace the Duke of New castle ) be requested
to Pay this Committee within One Month the
Balance due for the New Paving such Street
amounting to £128:16s:0d pursuant to his
Agreement of the 31st. day of March 1786.
