Eleanor Smith< no role > Aged abt Twenty three Years Upon
Oath Says that she was bound an apprentice by the
Church wardens & Overseers of the parish of St Clement
Danes to Adam Allen< no role > a Distiller in Blackmoor Street
in the Sd. parish with whom she lived upwards of One Year
& that her Sd Master failed & went abroad Says after that
she lived a hired Yearly Servt. with Mr Crofts at the White
Lyon in Wych Street in the Same Parish for five Years
Yearly wages from four pounds to five pounds ten Shillings
& hath quitted Sd Service upwards of three Years And
further Upon her Voluntary Oath says she is
pregnant with Child or Children which is likely to be
born a Bastard or Bastards & to become chargeable to the
Said Parish she being poor and unable to Maintain the
Same when Born that One Francis Jerrard< no role > had Carnal
Knowledge of this Examinants Body in the Month of Sepr.
Last in the house of One Mr Waggit in the parish of St
Botolph Bishopgate London where this Examinant
lived as a Servt , between Six & Seven Months and at Sevll,
other times afterwards at one of which times he got her with
Child of the Child or Children with which she is pregnant
and that the Sd. Francis Jerrard< no role > is a Sargeant in the Queens
Fusilears now at Bellisle as she hath been Inform'd
& Believes
