to wit Elizabeth Russell< no role > Aged about Twenty Three
Years on her Oath Says she never was married Rented House
or paid Taxes Says she lived a hired Yearly Servant with one
Mrs. Ward in the Parish of Kiverton in the County of Hereford
for one Year at the Yearly Wages of One Pound five Shillings
hath quitted her said services upwards of five Years Ago
since which time she hath gained no other Subsequent Settlemt.
And further upon her Voluntary Oath says she is pregnant
with Child or Children which is or are likely to be born a
Bastard or Bastards and to become Chargable to the said
Parish of St. Clement Danes she being Poor and unable to maintain
the same when born Says that one William Augustus Howard< no role >
a Physician who keeps a House at No. 2 Westcott Buildings in
the City of Bath & who now ledges at Jacks Coffee house in Dean
Street so he is the Father there of he having had Carnal
knowledge of her Body sometime in the Month of November
last but the particular Day she does not now remember and
at Several different times afterwards he attempted to do the same and believes he [..] at one of which time she
got her with Child of the Child or Children of which she is now
pregnant And that the said William Augustus Howard< no role > and
no other person did beget the same and that he is the real [..]
true Father thereof
