to wit Elizabeth Francis< no role > Aged about Twenty two Years
on her Oath says she never was Married Rented House paid
Taxes or ever served any Apprenticeship says she lived a hired
Yearly Servant with One Mr George Roberts Senr< no role > (Now dead)
A piecebroker in White horse Yard Drury Lane in the
Parish of Saint Clement Danes in the liberty of Westminster
upwards of one Year and a half at the Yearly Wages of
Five pounds hath Quitted her said Service upwards of five
Months ago and hath not since she Quitted the same ever
gained any other Subsequent Settlement; And further on her
Voluntary Oath says she is Pregnant with Child or Children
that is or are likely to be born a Bastard or Bastards and
to become Chargeable to the said Parish of Saint Clement Danes
she being Poor and unable to maintain the same when born &
says that one George Roberts Junior< no role > who now lives with his
Mother Mrs Roberts piecebroker in Whitehorse Yard Drury
Lane is the father thereof he having had Carnal knowledge of
her Body sometime in the Month of August last (but the particular
day she does not now remember) at his said Mothers house and
at several times since at one of which times or times he got her with
Child of the Child or Children of which she is now pregnant and
that the said George Roberts Junior< no role > and no other Person did
beget the same and that he is the real and true father thereof
