Eliz. Morris< no role > This name instance is in set 1336. aged about 23 Years (Lodging
at Mr Halls in Butcher Row in the Parish of
St Clemt. Danes in the Liberty of Westmr.) upon Oath
saith she never was married and that she
Lived a Yearly Servant with Mr Lane a Farmer
at Bell Hill in the Parish of Oakingham
in the County of Berks at the Yearly wages
of three Pounds for the Space of two Years
or thereabouts and hath quitted her sd. Service abt. 2 yrs.
since which she has not rented ten pounds
a Year paid Parish Taxes lived a Yearly
Servant for one Year or otherwise gained a
Settlement in any other Place to her knowledge
or beleif and further upon her Voluntary
Oath saith she is pregnant with Child or Childrn.
which is likely to be born a bastard or bastards
and to become Chargeable to the aforesaid
Parish of St Clemt. Danes she being Poor and
unable to maintain the same when born
