Ann Gough< no role > aged about 30 Years upon
Oath saith she never was married and that
she lived a Yearly Servant with Mr. Robinson a
Tobacco merchant in Bread Street in the
Parish of Allhallows Bread Street London at the yearly wages of £5 for one
Year & upwds. and Quitted has said Service in Octr.
last and further upon her Voluntary Oath saith
she is Pregnant with Child or Children which is
likely to be born a bastard or bastards and to
become Chargeable to the Parish of St. Clement. Danes
in the Liberty of Westmr. where she now lodges she
being Poor and unable to maintain the same
when born and that John Bates< no role > a Drawer at
the horn Tavern in Fleet Street did be get the
sd. Bastard Child or Children on her body the sd.
this Examinant at that time living a fellor
Servt. with the sd. John Bates< no role > at the Horn Tavern aforesaid there he became
acquainted with her and had Carnal knowledge
of her Body in the month of Febry last and
