(to Wit) Denis Peakin< no role > Aged
about thirty Nine years (on behalf of
his Mother Margaret Peakin< no role > [..] now
Ill and Infirm) Maketh Oath and saith
that he hath been Informed by his said Mother and verily
believes that she his said Mother Margt. Peakin< no role >
was Married to James Peakin< no role > his late Father
deceddeceased at a Roman Catholic Church
or Chapel, in the Town of Kilkenny in the
Kingdom of Ireland , about Forty years since,
according to the Rights & Ceremony of the Church
of Romethat his said Mother about twenty
Seven years ago lived as an hired yearly
Servant with Mr. James Orr< no role > a West India
Merchant in Great Winchester Street (he
believes at the House No.10 there,) in the parish
of Alhallows on London Wall in the City of
London upwards of one year and that she
hath not done any Act Matter or thing
whatever (whereby to the best of this Deponents
Knowledge or belief) She might have acquired
or be intitled unto any subsequent legal Settlement
And this Deponentsatsaith that he hath never
heard from his said Mother or otherwise what
Wages she contracted for or Received for such
Service with Mr. Orr as aforesaid & that his
saidFather JamesMother Margaret Peakin< no role >
