Saint Clement Danes

to wit Frances Ashly< no role > aged 48 Years or thereabouts
upon her Oath saith that she married to James< no role >
her present Husband at St. Andrews Holborn
about 21 Years Ago that Since their Intermarriage
her Husband has not to the best of this Examinant
knowledge gained any Parochial Settlement
in any Way whatever that her said Husband
hath Informed this Examinant that he
was bound Apprentice to and duly Served
his Apprenticeship with John Bedle< no role > a
Waterman at Bankside in the parish of
St. Saviour Southwark in the County of
Surry and that since quitting his said Master
he never had gained any other Settlement.
And this Examinant further Saith that her
said Husband has deserted her and that she
is poor and unable to maintain herself
