Information of Witnesses severally taken and
acknowledged on the behalf of our Sovereign Lord
the King touching the Death of William Hall< no role >
at the Dwelling House of Sarah Neave< no role >
the Sign of the Black Dog St. James Mark
in the City & Liberties as aforesaid on the 11
Day of August 1794 before Anthony Gell< no role > Esq
His Majestys Coroner for the said City & Liberty
on View of the Body of the said William Hall< no role >
then & there lying Dead.

Mr. Phillip Brook< no role > Butcher Market Street
St James Market }
being duly Sworn
Deposeth

that on Saturday the 9 August 1794. William
Jackson
< no role > and the Deced being together in St. James
Market about 5 O' Clock in the Evening that some aggravating Words form the Deced
to the said William Jackson< no role > he the said Will
Jackson said if he repeated those Words again he would give him a Screw, upon
Which He went round to the Deced [..] Jumped the [..]
from the Shop Board I Collared the said William
Jackson
< no role > and dragged him on the ground for the
space of three yards the Dept. further saith
that the Deced pinned for confined him with
his face towards the Ground when he got loose
