and went to Blows-the Deceased missed his Stroke
and could not recover himself, being on descent, and
fell with his Head against the Rising Stone of the
Shennell or GutterDeponent took the Deceased up
as well as he could, no other Person offering to do it
and the Deceased then closed Smith again with
Violence,against the Rails of the [..] hee under the
Poulterers Window in Union Street , which brought them
both to the pound, Smith way undermost at that time
Smith then took of his Shirt, they closed again; the
Deceased fell on his Backside the Watchman's Rattle
at that time Sprung, which alarmed the Deceased,the
Deponent helped the Deceased up, and when they had gone about thirty or
forty Yards, Deponent put on the Deceased Clothes-the
Deponent having two Hats in his Possession; the Deceased
close his own-the Deponent got the Deceased home to
Lord Bulkeley's as soon as he could, but was some
what interrupted by a Person or [..] of Smiths
When the Deceased came home he was perfect in recollection
and asked Thomas Hughes< no role > one of His Lordships Servants what Business had happened during his Absence
after that he went down in the Pasetury to Bed-the-
Deceased

When brought home Bled very much from a Wound on
the left side of his Forehead , which Deponent beleives
must have been occasioned by his falling on the Stone
as before mentioned by him-William Stephenson< no role >

Henry Teale< no role > Servant to Lord Genmore on his Oath saith
that a Wednesday Night last, he was at the Red Lyon
Public Hous e in Union Street Playing at Cards with the Deceased
he was there a Message came to the Deceased that he
was wanted in Private, the Deceased said he had no
Private Business, if any Body wanted him they might
Come there, a little before Eleven the Deceased [..]
going home, went away with the Deponent, the Dept.
Porsuaded him to go home, but the Deceased Would not
and returned backDeponent heard some Person Calling
but don't know to whom or from whomand when the Deceased
returned Deponent went homeDeponent beleives
the Deceased was in Liquor
