the left hand corner of King Street they carried the Deced
to the Watch House and after a little white he raised himself
on his Hands ad Knees and made towards the Fire
Skirving the Warder said the Deceased must not he there
for he had been there in the fore part of the Might, and
had been twined out by Mr. Ashdon Deponent Said let
it he so or how it would as he had found him or his Beat
he would not have any one Dye that he could present
and therefore he must he there and he would leave him
there Kinght then Said He must go oner to Mr. Milliners

Saw Mr, Ashdon Standing in the Public House Smoking
his PipeDeponent told Ashdon, Mr.Kinght [..]
him to come about the Man that had been in the Watch
House before Ashdon Sid he would go over to him, and
Deponent returned to his BeatAbout Five o'Clock
the Same Morning Deponent went to the Watch House
with the other Patroles and Saw the Deceased lying out
the Watch House doorKnight Rotham and another
Patroles [..] to take Deceased into the Watch House

but Ashdon Said he Should not come in, he be
Dammed if any of them Should bring him in, [..]
for he'd be answerableAshdon and Knight had
then very high world together about the Deceased
and Ashdon forced Knight out of the Watch House
and Knight in being pushed out fell over the Deced
Deponent Staid tile about a quater after Five to see
What would be done, and when Mr. Ashdon's Patroles
was abated he came out of the Watch House with
a Candle in a Lanthorn, and Ashdon and deponent and
other assisted in putting the Deceased in the Hole
Setting him uprightAshdon Said to the Deced you
have been Passed before, he Said in a Faint Voice No.
You have a Wife and three Children, he anwered No.
when Ashdon lsft the Deceased in the Hole, he said
to the Deceased Mind the Door is not Lacked, You may
come out when you please Joseph Moore< no role >

Archdale Harris< no role > Surgeon to St. Margaret's Waokhouse
on his [..] Saith that he has Examined the Body of the
Deceased, and finds no apparent Injury [..]
