Informations taken this Fourteenth
day of March 1780 at the Parish of
St. Margaret within the Liberty of
Westmr. in the County of Midsex upon
an Inquisition touching the death of
Thomas Langford< no role > lying dead in the said
Parish Liberty and County.

Christopher Batham< no role > This name instance is in set 2247. House Surgeon at the
Westmr. Hospital in the Parish of St. Margaret
Westmr. on his Oath saith That on Friday last
(the 10th. Instant) Thomas Longford< no role > the Deced was
brought to said Hospital as an Accident, having
his left High Fractured in a very bad manner
That all proper care was taken of Deced, but
a Mortification came on upon the twelfth
Instant in the Morning, and Deced died
about one o'Clock in the Morning of the
thirteenth Instant in the Hospital, And
Dept. says that the Deced died in consequence
of the Fracture abovementioned

Noah Groves< no role > of Walham Green in the Parish
of Fulham Gardener on his Oath saith That
Thomas Langford< no role > the Deced and this Dept.
on Friday last the 10th. Instant loaded two
Carts with Potatoes in the Borough of
Southwark and were taking them home
to Walham Green That the Deced's Cart
drawn by two Horses was fore [..] and this Depts. Cart
followed at the End of Westmr. Bridge on the
Surry side, the Deced being on the [..] ide
of his Horses, and about a Yard from the
Shaft Horse, That a Man was riding on
Horse back from the End of the Bridge into
Surry between a Walk and a Trot, and
that
