Whilet Mr. Bragg put a Shirt in a Pistol
as Dept. understood, Says that Mr. Bragg
put in the Flint, and tried it, but it did
not then strike fire so well as the thought
it should, Says that Mr. Bragg then put
some Oil to it, and tried it again, Says
that the Pistol then went off and shott
the Deced in the Belly, who was standing
before Mr. Bragg, Says that the Deced
Staggered and was going to fall down when
Dept. took hold, and Mr. Bragg and other
assisted the Dept. Says that Mr. Bragg
declared that he did not know the Pistol
was charged, and appeared to be greatly
concerned at what had happened, And
Dept. believes that Mr. Bragg did not know
of the Pistol being loaded, and that it
was merely Accidental and without
any Intention in Mr. Bragg to hurt the
Deced.

of Isleworth Gardener on her Oath saith that
on Saturday last by the desire of her mistress
she carried a Pistol to Mr. Bragg a Smith
to have a Flint put into it the Flint
being dropped out of it, by depts. attempted
to Fire it in the Garden on Thursday Night
last, when Dept. thought it was gone off
Says that on Tuesday last she desired Deced
to call at Mr. Bragg's of the Pistol.
