Informations taken this Thirty first day
of December 1778 at the Parish of St Anne
within the Liberty of Westmr. in the County
of Middlesex upon an Inquisition touching
the Death of a Woman Unknown lying dead
in the said Parish Liberty and County

George Bourtholem< no role > one of the Beadles of
the Parish of St, Ann Westmr . on his Oath Saith
That this Morning between Seven & Eight
oClock, a Man came Do Dept. From Mr. Marshall
a Grocer in great Newport Street desired [..]
Dept, to come to take away a Woman who
lay dead by the Sign of the Royal Oak in
little Newport Street , upon which he went there
and saw the Deced lying there upon the Pavent
close to the Royal Oak in the Parish of St. Ann
Says That there was a little Blood upon Deced
left Arm, but no Marks of violence
Says that the Deced was carried upon a
Chairman's House to the Poorhouse of said
Parish
