by God, upon which Dept went to Miller and
saw the Child in a White Quart Pot, with a
String about the Child Neck and a String tied
to the handle of the Pot but Dept. does not know
that it was the same string Says that the Child
was dead but Dept. observed no Marks of violence
upon her Says that he keeps a Shop and
that the Door of his Passage which leads to the
Necessary is open all day & until Eleven O'Clock
at Night but Dept. saw no Strangers lately go
to the Necessary nor does he suspect any person
particularly of leaving the Child there

on his Oath smith That he this day Examined
a Female Child which he was informed had
been bund in Mr Fairbrother Necessary and found
no Marks of violence upon her, That the Child
appeared to be about five Months Child that she
might possibly have been born Olive but wound die
soon after but Dept is inclimed to thank that the
Child was dead born
