Sarah< no role > the Wife of George Dawson< no role > of Hungerford
Waterman on her Oath saith, That she went down
Hungerford Stairs on Sunday Evening last, Decr. 13th
about Seven o'Clock with her Husband's Apprentice
who was going to carry some Company across the
River Thames , Says that as the Boat lay close to
the Causeway she saw Martin Cascater< no role > the Deced
step into the Boat, and directly out of it into
a Coal Barge, he having a Boat Staff in his Hand that she called to him three times but
that he made no answer, Says that the Boat was
rowed off immediately, that she came up the Stairs
home, and did not afterwards see the deced alive
nor did she hear any Noise whatever in the River
at that time.
