Thomas Hill< no role > of Petty France Westmr. Shoemaker on
the Oath saith the [..] day Evening last July 4th.
about Nine o'Clock James [..] to the Deced Officer,
and Alexander [..] to his [..] other [..] mmer,
come together from Mr. Astleys R [..] School [..] they
has been playing, to Mr. Thomas Hill< no role > Sign of the wheat
[..] in New Tothill Street Westmr. being both in
Liquor, Says that they [..] part of four Pots of
Beer in the Company of his Dept and two other Men
and appeared to be in good humour Says that the
Deced afterwards said to his Brother ill Dart your
Eye out, and upon said Alexander Macquarter< no role > s
saying that it was a foolish expression, the Deced
said, you Dingy looking Dog Ill dart your Eye out
and immediately took off his Cloaths, Chellerged the
said Alexander Macquarter to Fight Struck of him
three times, and twice went out into the Yard and
said Alexander would not follow and was un willing
to fight, Bert upon the Deced coming in again and
putting his Fist in Alexanders face he said as you
are so fully bert for Fistling [..] ll come out and
[..] you, upon which he shipt and both went out
into the Yard where they struck several Blows
with their Fifts at each other and Alexander struct
the Deced upon her face but upon no other part of
his Head that Dept. could [..] , Says that the Deced bled
at this Nose but did not fall down That Dept. and
other Men parted them and they came into the House
again where the Deced abused his Brother again
and said that he would fight him Mother day, but
did not then complain of his having Deced any
other hurt than upon his Lip.
