Evening last, and that Dept. went with Deced to the
Sign of the Green Man in New Street, and there drank
three or four Pots of Beer in Company with two other
Gentlemen, Says that they parted about Eleven o Clock
and Deced went home as Dept. believes, Says that he
observed the Deced to be out of order and low Spirited
and asked Deced what was the Matter, to which he
Answered that he had been Robbed, and that the Per [..]
that Robbed the Landlord was still in the House which gave
him some uneasiness, and that he had not rested for three
or four Nights.

William Man< no role > you a Lodger at Mr. Christopher Gilliot< no role > in
High Street St. Gyles, Labourer on his Oath saith that he worked
with Deced as Bricklayers Labourer on Tuesday last in
New Street , and that this Dept. went yesterday Morning
to Deced's Lodging about a quarter before six o' Clock,
and called out to Deced, Says that Deced opened his
Window and threw out the Key of the Shad, (where the
Materials were kept for Working,) into the Back Yardto
Deponent, but said nothing, Says that he carried some
Mortar to New Street , and returned about Eight o'Clock
and then called again in the Yard to the Deced but had
no Answer, Says that he inquired for the Deced at
divers places but could not hear of him, Says that this
Morning about Seven o'Clcok Dept. put up a Ladder agt.
Depts. Window, and on looking in the saw the Deced hanging
by the Bedside in the Room, and appeared to Dept. to be
upon his Knees, Says that another Man looked in
and that Dept. then took the Ladder away without either of their
going into the Room. Says that the Deced on Monday
and Tuesday last was very low Spirited, and spoke very
little, and was then uneasy in his Mind.
