home that day over Hounslow Heath with the Empty Cart it snowed very fast,
that he the Deced took hold of the Shaft Horse or Thiller to
guide him in the Road, Says that the Horse moving his
Head toward the Deced hit the Deced upon his Head, and
being very Slippery, the Deced fell down and thatthe said
Shaft
the Horse brod upon the Deced's Leg, that the Deced
then turned himself under the Body of the Cart that the
wheel might not pass over him, Says that the Horse
was the Property of said Kemble Whatley, and is worth
Twenty Shillings as Deponent believes, Says that Deced died
at the Westmr. Infirmary the Ninth Instant.

saith, That on Wednesday or Thursday last he went to the
Westminster Infirmary to see John Peacock< no role > the Deced Says that
he found Deced in good Spirts, but complained of his Leg being
very Painfull, Says that he asked Deced how to reced the [..] on his Leg
to which Deced answered that as he was coming home over
Hounslow Heath with an Empty Cart, being very Stormy Weather
Deced took hold of the Shaft House or Shiller upon which said
Shaft Horse moving his Head, hit the Deced upon his Head and
the Ground being Shippy Deced fell down, and that said Shaft
Horce had trod upon the Deced's Leg, & that he the Deced then
turned himself under the Cart to prevent the Wheels going
over him, Says that the said Shaft Horse is of a Black Colour
the Property of said Mr. Whatley and is worth about fifteen or
sixteen Shillings as Deponent believes.
