Conditional Pardon for John Molcahy his Name Etc. is written on Page 11

Whereas John Molcahy was at the Sessions holden at the Old Bailey in May last tried and convicted of Felony
and had Sentence of Death passed upon him for the same And Whereas some favorable Circumstances have been humbly represented
unto us in his Behalf inducing us to Extend our Grace and Mercy unto him and to Grant him our pardon for his said Crime
on Condition of his Entering and continuing to serve us in our Royal Navy Our will and pleasure therefore is that upon his
Entering to Serve us in our Royal Navy as aforesaid he be forthwith delivered over to such person or persons as shall be duly
authorized to receive him for that purpose and that he be incerted for his said Crime on the said Condition in our first
and next General Pardon that shall come out for the poor Convicts in Newgate and for so doing this shall be your
warrant Given at our Court at Saint James's the Sixteenth day of November 1793 in the thirty fourth year of our Reign

The Order of His Majesty written on the other side for the Removal of Forty Male
Convicts, was only in part complied with for there were but Twenty sent from the Gaol
of Newgate two of whom escaped so that only Eighteen instead of Forty were delivered on
Board the Lion Hulk in Portsmouth Harbour January. 6. 1794. James Bradley< no role > Esqr . Overseer
The prisoners names delivered on board the Lion Hulk are written on pages 11. No. 103, 108, 13, - page 12 Nos. 62. 65, 3
page 13 Nos. 19. 21. and 26 - page 14 No. 13. page 18 Nos. 1 & Nos. 7 - page 19. Nos 11. 14. 19. 1 and page 30 No. 13. - The names of the
two that escaped are written on page 13. No. 40 & page 14 No. 47. - the deficiency in this Order will appear made up on page. 35 against an
Order for removal of 20 more. one of the prisoners who Escaped is taken and Capitally Convicted. Vide pages 13 & 43. No. 80 (Joshua Daniels)
