Grand Committee
Tuesday Februy: 11th: 1745/6

The Minutes of the last Grand Committee
held the 3d Decemr: 1745 were read & confirmed

[mark] Mr. Treasurer acquainted the Committee that
the Revd: Mr. Drew the Hospitaller to this Hospital
dyed the 28th of January last

Ordered that a General Court be
summon'd on Wednesday the 19th instant for the
Election of a Hospitaller in the room of the sd:
Mr Drew

[..] Agreed with Mr Nichs: Parkes< no role > to grant
him a Lease of two Houses he now holds
of the Hospl: at the corner of Ivy Lane in
Paternoster Row for a Term of 21 Years from
Michas next if he shall so long Live at £50
P Ann rent the Hospital to put the premisses
into substantial Repair & to pay the Land Tax
The Lease to contain usual Covenantsto be
allowed a Quarters rent during the Repairs

Ordered that it be referred to Mr: Treasurer to
treat & agree wth. Joseph Wright< no role > of Harlow
in Essex for a Lease of the Underwoods at
Parndon

Mr. John Whitlock< no role > on behalf of his Mother
offer'd £10 instead of £9 & Mr: Wm: Hussey< no role > 7lb
instead of £6 for new Leases upon the Terms
of their proposals at the last Committee which
were not accepted
