The Minutes of the last Grand Commit:

Ordered that Mr. Paul having
been one of the Surgeons of this Hospl: upwards
of a Twelve month have Liberty to cut for
the Stone in this Hospital

Mr. Treasurer reported that he had
approved of the Security proposed by Wm. Hop
craft< no role > for the payment of the Rent & perfor:
:mance of the Covenants of the Lease agreed
to be granted him at the last Grand Committee
& that the sd. Security had been executed
the sd. Wm. Hopcraft< no role > gave a shilling to
the Poors Box

[mark] Agreed with Thos: Hopkins< no role > to grant
him a Lease of his House in the Borough
late in Lease to Mr. Addyes at £40 P Ann
to commence from Christmas last for one &
Twenty years. The Hospital to put it into Tenan:
:table Repair & to allow the Land tax the Lease
to contain usual Covenants.

Gave half a Guinea to the Poor's Box
Agreed with Mr. Joseph Pace to grant
him a Lease of his House in the Borough
which he now holds of the Hospital as Tenant
at Will for 21 years to comence from Lady day
nextat £60 P Ann rent, The Hospital
to put the House into Tenantable Repair the
Lease to contain usual Covenants & particularly
a Covenant for restraining the Tenant from
Letting the premes to a Brazier Tallow Chandler
or Distiller or any other Noisome Trade
