was Chosen Cook for this Hospital during the
pleasure of the Grand Committee she
was called in and acquainted with such
her Election

The Clerk laid before the Committee a
letter from Mr. Wm. Alwood< no role > Lord to Mr Lesingham
dated 8th instant signifying that the Cole Mines
at Tibshelf have taken fire & endaingers
the town and that Nathl. Ault< no role > one of the
Hospitals tenants has greatly misbehaved
in several particulars mentioned in that
letter And the Clerk acquainted the Comittee
that he has wrote to Mr Richardson for
information touching those matters

The Copyhold part of
the Farmes of Sawbridge
worth to he enfranchised


The Clerk acquainted the Committee the
he had applyed to Ralph Freeman< no role > Esqr
Lord of the Mannor of Sawbridgeworth
to enfranchise the Copy hold part of the
farmes there devised to this Hospital by
Mrs. Palmerhas appointed Courts to be
held on the 24th & 25th instant expects
that some Trustees for the Hospital should
then take admittance [..]
in trust for a particular Charitable use
and that Mr Freeman intimated a Willingays
to grant such Enfranchis upon reasonable
terms in regard to the Charity but
expected the Governors to take a
