Dear Sir
A small purset of land of 20 Acres of upwards belonging to
Mr Mordaunt of Parndon having been offered to me, & recommended
as a desirable Purchase by Mr Marshall at the sum I engage on
behalf of the Hospital to pay for it Vizt. £650, of as Mr Mor-
dacent had promised to give another person a final a Answer Tomorrow

Your several Letters of the 18 Sept & 22d. Inst have been duly
received. The Colliery Accounts advised of by the former were also
received, & I have examined & found their correct. When you send
the remaining Account up to Michmas, please to accompany it,
or before, with an half yearly Obstract, as whatever then appear,
of Gain or top upon the face of the Colliery Account must be carrd.
into the Books Michaelmas being the perced at which the Hospt.
Income in dated & ascertained.

That your Letter of the 18 Sept. has remained unnoticed has
merin from the Port pavement of the Treasurer entended veset to
Tibshelf then Autumn, A Variety fo A vocations has het thereto pre-
vented it, & whether he well now be able to accomplute it before
next spring it remains for him to say. At present he is precluded
from thinkg of it by the Death of Mr Champman father As
soon as he can return to business I doubt not he well circle to you
& inform you either when he means to come, or give you the
necessary directions as to your future proceedings.

The Box of Game of received & shall be forwarded to the
Treasurer as Woodford without delay.

I have just seen the Treasurer who desires me to inform you
that he has it in Contemplation, if all by well, to set off her
Tibshelf on Friday the 5 Novr. & to be at Mansfield the folling
Afternoon. whether he will come alone, or accompianed by an of
the Governors, & whether he will travel import Chase by the Mart
he has not yet determined. the proposes spending Sunday &
monday at Tebshelf & setting offer his Return the next Morng.
I have told him I was sure you could accomodate him &
