St. Thomas's Hospital 26 decr. 1800

Sir

The Callery of two Great Coents since you was in Term, & the
Purpose of other Business as the Season, have do interrupted me, that
I have not been able to enter your Accounts in the Hospital Books, &
lay the whole before the Treasurer for his Approbation. Sir a few days I
hope to be ready then I will return you the Papers you less with me,
for the Purpose of your in cheery a fan Transcupt of then, which, when
you have dore, you well be so good as to send it to me to be deported
will the Hospital Vouchers.

My Purpose in corecty to you at present unto falpt a request
of Mr Farr (Stocketes Successor) to had some Tunks in cuted out
for Repair wanting enter fairer. You will recollect that it was
poke about when, you was here the Treasurer acquainted in it.
Mr Farr a few days after Symfied that 3 Oaks , 3 Elms & 20 Pillows
were much wanted: Mr Farr Junr. has been here Today & says some
pollard have been felled & cercuted into Gates & an (a few) days the
outside fence will be tolerebly secure; but more Pollard will
be wanted for Gates within the farm, as well as the Oaks & Elens,
the sooner he can have them the [..] describle it well be
will you be so good unto give the necessary Orders to I. Newton,
unless these Things an done under your ever Inspection.

Sir

Since your Account of the Encroachment of the River on the
Embankments of your faun, I have been deserous of takery
a Veen thereof, & had fraed last Tuesday for coming down with
Mr. Robenson our Surveyor, but assault or Increementance
having prevented has accompanying one on this day, it
will not been my Fever to nerve an earlier Tune than
the 19th or 20th Inst.Mr. Marshall having by the days
Port represented the Business in a Way that alarms me, I
must request you will immediatly adverse me what you
recommand being done & altho' we are presently Stroages
to each other, your Chararter as so will know to me
that I am proceeded you will not purpose any This pay in-
-direct at to the Intents of the Hospital or what will had us
undo unnecessary Expence. Do me the favour of naming
whether you have any Timber upon the Eitah that may been fal
for the Purpose.
