them which were well Known to that at Treasurer are unknown to
the present, not can I give been much Information about them,
but they will rec [..] Explanation from you in the Course if yours
Correspondences; is when you have an Opportunity of seeing him.
If the Practice is continued of sending your Accounts once a
Year, it may be expede [..] as the Close of the intermediate half
years Remittance just to note at the foot of your Letter to what
Time the respective Tenants have then paid then Rents, & then
the Treasurer will know every half year in when Predicment
the Tenants stand.

I have received your favour of the 18 Ins. accompanied by the
Tibshelf Acco: his Lady day rents 1800, the depth of leases & letter
to Mr. Cromwell which shall be delivered to himThe late
worthy Treasurer having always managed the Correspondence &. I
being but young co office & respectifly acquanted with Things your
Can do. I am sent with excuse using Observations that fall from
me respecting the Accounts, if I should be appear to think their an
Essex when properly there is now.Premising this, I make
free to observe that, a draft of years for £30. was paid in ill to
last in the Coat sough Acoot. but is the Accot. rendered by you of that
Undertaking your are omitted charging yourself with it conse-
-quently in the Hospital Books the Coal Sough Accot. it and charged
will £30 more than it has actually cut, & which should be
discharged, either by carrying it to your Personal Account, is to the
Coal Works new carrying on, either of which I will do as advesed
by youIn the next place you will remember that a
Bills omitted by you in Part of [..] week rents was returned
last Junry his Non Payment; it was for £57.18.- & to make it
good you send another Bill for £60.3.5-you should have
taken Credit for the difference in the last Account. In the third
place you have in the laid Tibshelf Accot. charged if yourself with
Arrears due from the preceding £4. whereas I conceive it should
be £5.13.4, Vizt. Cottage rents £4 - Pilsley Try this £1.12.- &
Antward chief rent 1s/4d. I have estated these vouchers above
which with the Balance of £95.5.2 on the Tibshelf Accot. Lady day
1800 Messer £124.10.1 to be acerented for by youI shall be
glad to know whether these Remarks are right; if not our Books
ment be corrected.

With Regard to the Colling Accot. (I only speak my private
Sentiments & have not seen the Treasurer since I received your
Letter) I thank it would be much better if it was kept quite a
du [..] Affair & not blinded with the Accot. if rents for which
Reason Bills should either be drawn upon the Treasurer, for
whatever seems you want, or a [..] Seem taken out of
the Rents to you secure to be applied to the Coal worksit the
