In answer to yrs. of the 18th inst. Mr Treasurer
consents to the Agreement you made with the Butcher of
betting him the Cottage & Land, now held by Taylor, at £5.- - a
year & he to do the Repairs, but to [..] allow him 20s towards
them out of his first Rent And you are desired to give
Taylor Notice that unless he quits at Laday & leaves the
Prems. in proper Repair, a Distress with be made for the
Arrears of Rent and such other Methods taken as the Law
allows of And no Favour will be Shown him
