Mr. Treasurer recd. Ys of 27th Augst. list with a
Pticular Acct. of the Repairs necessary to be done at Stewards Farme at
at Parndon And has order'd me to acquaint Yo this he desires
Yo will repair the sd. Farme accordingly & make use of as much of the
old Materials from Parndon Hall as Yo. can conveniently in repairing
thereof

In my return from the Country I found Yr. Favour of
the 20th. of last Month And he order'd to acquaint yo that the Court Rolls
of the Manor of Topcliffs correspond wth. Yr. Accot. as to the Admission of
George Newcome< no role > & Wm. Chapman< no role > in 1707 on Behalf of the Trustees of the
Poor of ChardBut our Govrs. were inform'd by their Bayliff of that
Manor that they were both deadhowever they no longer doubt of
Mr Chapman being a live Since Yo. affirm it & declare that Readiness of the
Portreevors & the other Trustees to give what further Proof shall be
deemed requisite

I recd. Yr. Favour of 30th. last And hope Yr. Cloak as return'd
Yo. by the Mistress of the Red Lyon Inn at Royston where Yo. had left
it Mr. Morse desires his Complaints and if any thing because to Yo.
that may Serve to clear up the Difficulties in Mr Hitck's Affairs,
(as by Yr. Letter Yo. Seem to hope)You will please to communicate Yr.
Thoughts to him I have paid Mr. Malyn the 5/6 as Yo. desired
